  Kenny Tay is a renowned musician who started off working in the pubs and night clubs in the early days as vocalist and lead guitarist.

  In 1982, he formed and lead the trio Kenny Remy and Martin that shot to fame with his composition "Ku Petik Bintang - Bintang". This was his biggest hit and the song soared to the top and held on to the No.1 spot in the Malay Charts for 13 weeks. The trio released another two albums, also including some big hits. One of these, "Suratan Atau Kebetulan", is aired frequently over radio even today and has been used as the theme tune for Malay dramas.

  In the 90's, Kenny co-founded the Indie record label Positive Tone, which had a string of artistes like OAG, Poetic Ammo, Innuendo, Too Phat to name a few. Eventually, Positive Tone was bought over by the music giant, EMI in 1998.

  During these years, Kenny was also running his own recording studio and was responsible for composing, arranging and producing many jingles for radio and television.

  Since disposing of his studio, Kenny now performs regularly as a solo live act at top entertainment outlets and also at dinner shows and functions.

  Until today, Kenny strives to improve his mastery of the guitar and his finger picking style is uniquely his own creation.

  Kenny Tay performs regularly for private functions and special occassions such as Weddings, Company Dinners, Launches, Private Parties etc. He can be hired as a Soloist (Guitarist/Singer) or with a band (combination tailored to the needs of the event).
