2000:
Participated in a song composing competition themed 'Our Voices', a local Malaysia Chinese Radio Station, 'The 5th Channel'.
Her composing songs Little Woman and Blue won her two awards in the Top 10 list.
2002:
Participated in another composing and singing competition, the East Malaysia Award, organized by LWSSOM
( Lee Wei Song School of Music ). Nominated songs are 'Hui Yin Gu' ( Echo in the Valley ) and 100%. Hui Yin Gu bagged away
four out of five awards in the categories of Best Melody, Best Arrangement, Best Performance and the East Malaysia Award title.
Signed contract with Eastern World ( Taiwan ) and became a recognized singer-songwriter.
2003:
'Hui Yin Gu' ( Echo in the Valley ) was selected to be recorded by a local Malaysian singer, Chen Yee Yee, in her first album
'Collection' was released in Malaysia. Echo in the Valley was selected and released in Taiwan. Later in 2005, Chen Yee Yee
recorded the song again and released her other album which she named it after Hui Yin Gu.
2004:
Moved to Taiwan to pursue her music career and attended professional training and courses. Invitations to perform at various universities.
2008/2009:
Relocated to Beijing to set forth her singing career in another path. She signed contract with a new company, Mainstream Music Corporation. Together with 2 other singers, Yan Wan Chean ( Malaysia ) and Zhao Hui Xian ( Korea ), Number released a compilation album titled 1.2 in China.
